Space constraints were addressed by breaking space into 3 zones: kitchen, breakfast room and pantry. A clipped ceiling created by a staircase leading to the next level required detailed engineering and design to fit a built-in refrigerator. Ventilation of the range hood proved particularly challenging within the constraints of the space.
